Tomorrow will mark four weeks spent upon this effort, and we are on track to hit 500 million — that’s 500 oppoflops — tomorrow, as well as to see ourselves placed inside the top 500 teams out of more than a quarter million.

This has been, is being, a phenomenal effort.

I am still waiting on the stickers to arrive.

Very cool stuff. I should cross the 10M mark myself probably sometime overnight tonight.

To get to 500, we’ve got to take over IBM, Cornell, Japan, and a bunch of Linux and FreeBSD enthusiasts.

That said, there are over a dozen dead teams in the 401-500 range so we are effectively a top 500 team.

Hyatt Hotels and Fujitsu Labs overtook us a while ago and are streaking ahead @ 457 and 449 respectively.

All in all, great efforts from Oppo especially since we need to balance gaming with also not melting our PCs in our respective environments. I just saw a little snow here, so I’m good to keep folding =)

I set up a new to me i7 laptop last night. In about an hour I should be adding 7000 points to oppo’s efforts.

The laptop was shutting down due to a thermal issue before I formatted it. Cleaned it up installed the latest win 10 version and drivers and what better way to test it than folding. It’s been folding for almost 12 hours now without rebooting. Just wish it had a decent video card.

I have been keeping a spreadsheet since the start and recording the stats each time I look at the Stat Page. We have been climbing steadily in team ranking, but as we climb higher, we’ll be up against some Big Boi teams. The first place team has over a trillion points. The 100th place team has a little over 4 billion points. We can get to the top 100, but it’s going to take us all Summer to do it. I’m down...
